The position in regard to the coal dispute is much more hopeful lUnday, Jfor it is announced by the _Prirn*e Minister that it has practically been settled that a conference will take place on Saturday. Mr Massey will preside.,-but if-the conference is protracted it is probable Mr "Hally will act as chairman in the absence of the Premier.
