DAIRY FACTORY MANAGERS
TARANAKI EXECUTIVE MEETING
A meeting of the New Zealand Dairy Factory Managers' Association Taranaki Executive was held at Hawera on, Saturday, June 12. Present: Mr E. H. Reeves (president) in the chair, Jiislop, Taylor, Crosbie, and Neilson. Correspondence was read from Taranaki Metropolitan Agricultural Society, advising that arrangements had been made with the Dairy Division to meet managers on the second day of the show as requested.
From the secretary of the Dominion Executive, advising re meeting held in Auckland.
From the president of the Dominion Executive, advising that the annual meeting would be deferred in terms of the request from Taranaki.
Messrs Crosbie, Hislop and Neilson were appointed to represent Taranaki at the Palmerston North Show.
The secretary was instructed, to interview Mr Hooker, secretary of the Dominion Winter Show, re making arrangements with the Dairy Division to go through the.cheese and butter exhibits during show week; also suggesting a suitable Badge to be given to managers during the show. It was decided to write to the Waikato Winter Show, also the Cambridge Co-op. Dairy Co., expressing appreciation of the attention given to visiting Taranaki managers during the late show.
A vote of thanks to Mr Gormley for use of room concluded the meeting. Subsequently the executive met the president of the Dominion Winter Show and Mr Hooker (secretary), when several matters of mutual interest were discussed with satisfactory results.
