The Parliamentary Army Committee is memorialising the Premier and Mr Bonar Law suggesting important changes in the Empire's defence organisation. The scheme involves the representation of the three services on a body charged with the responsibility «f the co-ordination of expenditure and with the commitment of the foreign policy adopted by the Government. < In the House of Commons, replying to Lieut.^Colonel Seely, Mr Lloyd George stated that the Committee of Imperial Defence was constituted so as to deal with the co-ordination of the sea, land and air defences of tne Em- . pire by, experts from the three services, ' attending meeting of the committee as required.
