At Burnside the prices realised were well up to late quotations, specially so in the case of pigs. Fat Cattle—The sale opened at an advance of 20s to 25s per head on last week{s rates, but towards the finish prices eased back fully 20s per head. Prime, bullocks made from £19 to £22 | 10s, extra .prime to £26 10s, medium £15 to £17 10s, light from £12, prime heifers £18 12s 6d, medium cows and heifers £12 to £14 10s, light from £8 10s. Sheep—The demand was brisk, and prices were a shade firmer on last wek's improved rates. Prime wethers sold from 47s 6d to 57s 6d, medium 39s to 465, light and unfinished kinds from 30s upwards, extra prime heavy-we^ht ewes sold up to 55s 6d, prime 40s" ft) 47s 6d, medium 33s to 38s, light and aged from 24s upwards. Fat Lambs—All lines suitable for freezing purposes were disposed of at prices equal to last week's rates, while for inferior, lambs slightly reduoed values had to be accepffced.
