LONDON, Jan. 6. The Red forces in Russia are sweeping rapidly towards the Caucasus, pursuing General Denikin's Caucasus army, which is struggling to escape southward
towards Ekaterinador, fighting heavy
rearguard actions. But another Red army is marching north to the Don, and threatens to cut it off. The Ukraine I front is less active.
j The Daily Mall reports that DeniI kin's scattered forces are now on tne verge- ot annihilation, and are being driven into the fastnesses of the Caucasus mountains.
(Reuter.) STOCKHOLM, Jan. b. An Esthonian communique, dated January 3rd, states: "The armistice began to-day, but the Bolshevists at noon opened fire agauist Esthonian workers on the Narva front, breaking the armistice.
