BERLIN, Jan. 5. New official prices include: Flour 7^d per lb, bread 6id, potatoes 2fd. Potatoes are in short supply, and a "full ration is not available, and may l)e exhausted in March. Butter is. sold at 12s 4d per lb, representing a "rise of 100- per cent, margarine 65d (?), meat 4s 3d per lb, the ration beinghalf a pound weekly.
There is an acute shortage of coal. The majority of houses seem to be ■without coal, and briquettes are sellIng at 145s per ton.
