Fine cross- \ ■breds realised the highest prices. Con--tinental buyers were operating freely. Waihi shares are quoted: Buyers 43s 9d, sellers 46s 3d. Peninsular and Oriental, £560. Dalgety's, £11 and £70 15s. At the tallow sales 1428 casks were offered and were withdrawn, as there •was no competition.. Quotations show sl nominal decline of 2s per cwt.
