INHABITANTS' SUFFERINGS FROM BOLSHEVISTS.
(Received Aug. 6, 12.35 p.m.) ALLAHABAD, Aug. 5. Aevrs from Russian Turkestan states that the Mohammedans in Bokhara are being very badly treated by the Bolshevists. Their iife and property are unsafe, and trade is at a standstill. The Amir of Bokhara is doing his utmost to protect his subjects and to oppose the Bolshevists. Fighting has occurred at Kerki. Bolshevik progagnndists are active everywhere persuading the Mohammendaiis that Bolshevism is in sympathy with Islam.
