PRISONERS SENTENCED

At the Supreme Court a youth named Arthur Edward Smoothy, who pleaded guilty at Eketahuna to *a charge of attempted carnal knowledge of a little girl, was sentenced to three years' reformative treatment William Alfred Robert FusselL, on seven charges breaking, entering and theft, breaking and entering with intent, and four of forgery—was ordered reformative treatment for a period not exceedine: three years.
