« (From Oar Own Correspondent.) BAZAAR. A bazaar in aid of the funds of St. Aidan's Church was held in the hall on Wednesday. There was a, capital at_ tendance uoth afternoon and evening, I and excellent business "was done at I the various stalls—produce, lolly, fancy and plain. During the evening various competitions were held, which created considerable interest. It is anticipated that the net proceeds will amount to the satisfactory sum of £80. JOLL PAltk. Mr W. F. Baker was the successful tenderer for the right to graze the park for the ensuing 12 months. As sheep only are to be grazed the ground should be kept in better trim than for some years past. PERSONAL. Mr Frank Ohivers has accepted a position with the Hawera Electric Lighting Co. Private A. Bailey,, son of Mr J. Bailey, returned from the front last week, and is looking very fit. Private ' Bailey is at present on a tour of the I South Island, taking advantage of the concessions to returned soldiers.
