ACCIDENTS AT NEW PLYMOUTH.

A collision between a motor-car and a motor cycle occurred near the top of Standish Hill, New Plymouth, on Sunday morning, the result being that MiEric Shaw, of Okato, received serious injuries to his head (reports the Herald). It wss reported early this afternoon that his condition was serious. The car, which was jproeeeding towards the centre of the town, was being driven by Mr Reube, of Westown. A second man who was riding on the motor cycle with Mr Shaw escaped with practically no injury. A motor cycle ridden by a Maori collided with a car in Devon street, near the Hobson street corner, on Saturday afternoon, but it appears that, the rider of the cycle, though heavily thrown, was not badly injured.
