Scratched: Tirana and Hyginas. Won by a length, with a length between second and third. Time, 1.15. Hack Steeples—Polthogue 1, Master Webster 2, Grafton Tot 3. All started. Won by two and a half lengths, with six lengths between second and third. Time, 4.7. Wanganui Steeplechase—Coalition 1, Master Strowan 2. Bore 3. Scratched: Gaekwar. Won/ by four lengths, with six lengths between second and third. Time, 6.8. Yellow and Black fell at the last fence. Hack Hurdles—Omahu 1, Gunwale 2, Bernice 3. Also started: Mode, Sturdee, Lochella. . Won by a length, with four lengths between second and third. Time, 3.20.
