MELBOURNE, May 14. The Australian woikciv Union nas issued a mamieoto denouncing the One Big Union, <as the preamble and constitution -are identical with those ot the I.W.W.
After several hours' discussion the Federal Council of the Federated Seamen's Union decided upon a definite course of action regarding the seamen's dispute, and the formulation of a policy regarding their actions during the next 48 hours. There are no details, but the situation is de-scribed as very grave.

Followirig on the announcement by the Fed'erai Council that the Seamen's Union has arrived at a definite decision regarding the calling of a general strike of seamen, it is reported that the crews of the ships in port will strike .tonight, but the officials state that the decision will not be published until they have had an opportunity of meeting the men.
The secretary of the Federated Seamen's Union stated that the maritime situation was not more critical since 1917.
