REVOLTS GENERAL
BOLSHEVISTS FOMENTING TROUBLES.
BY CABLE—PBESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT . SHANGHAI, April 5. Ihe uprisings in Korea continue, a steady stream of reports from missionary sources accusing the Japanese authorities of suppressing the Korean demonstrations for self-determination. Undoubtedly there have been most serious casualties among the Koreans, who are without firearms, while thousands have been sent to gaol.
_ . c TOKIO, April 5. >_ bemi-ofncial: The disturbances in Korea are spreading over the whole peninsula. There have been over a hundred risings in the past few days. Rioters armed with clubs and axes are assaulting the police. The gendarmes are burning the post offices and Government buildings, and cutting the telegraphs. The cause of the rioters' sudden violence is due to pressure of the Bolshevik propagandists, with headquarters at Shientao and Shanghai whence anti-Japanese have been de^ spatched to instigate the rebellion.— Aus.-N.Z.
