BENTON V. CRESSEY
JUDGMENT FOR DEFENDANT
Mr Justice Chapman gave his reserved decision this morning for the defendant in the above action, a claim for £1000 damages for alleged misrepresentations on the sale of land at Whareroa. At the hearing Mr C B Morison, K.C. (instructed by Messrs Welsh and McCarthy), with Mr A P. Powell, appeared for the defendant' the plaintiff being represented by Mr W R. Haselden. '
