PROPOSAL FOR SETTLING GRIEVANCES. - BY CAJBLB—PUBBB ABBOCIATr'iN-<3OPYttI6HT (Received March. 19, 9.5 a.m.) NEW YORK, March, 14. l%e Tunes' London correspondent states that Mr L. Toothill, a Lab^r member of Parliament, had an interview with King George, during which he suggested* that old and steady employees ill any firm should be entitled to enter the board room for the purpose of \ discussing any grievances with the directors, instead of depending upon appointed representatives. Mr Toothill thinks that if the plan were adopted it would eliminate many of the cases of friction between employees and employees. The 'King did not make any comment, but merely listened. —Aus.-N.Z.
