FARMERS' CO-OP. MARKET REPORT.

At Okaiawa yards on Monday last we held our usual sale. There was an average yarding of cattle, which sold under good demand. We quote: Fat cows £12 to £12 10s, forward and store cows £7 10s to £10 10s, boners £3 10s to £6 10s, bulls £9 to £12, store lambs lls to 11s Bd.

At Mangamingi on Tuesday we held our second sheep fair, when more than the advertised number came forward. There was a good attendance of buyers, and almost everything was sold at auction. Prices were higher than at the previous sale. We quote: Two and 4tooth wethers 29s to 30s 2d, 4 and 6tooth wethers 27s 6d to 29s 3d, f.m. wethers 23s to 265, 4-year ewes 22s to 255, 5-year ewes 16s 6d to 19s lOd, cull ewes 10s to 12s 6d, lambs 6s to 11s 6d. At Eltham yards on Wednesday we had our fortnightly sale. There was a fail- yarding of cattle and a big entry of sheep, all of which sold at late rates Fat cows £12 10s to £15 10s, forward and store cows £9 10s to £10 10s boners £3 10s to £6, bulls £8 to £16, 18-month heifers £5, 21 to 22-month steers £10 10s, f.m. ewes 15s 7d to 20s, 2-tooth ewes 25s 6d, lambs 9s 6d to 11s.

At Hawera yards on Friday we held our usual sale. There was a fair yarding of both cattle and sheep, and we report a successful sale. Forward cows £10 10s to £11 10s, store cows £7 to £9 10s, boners £3 10s to £6 10s, 18-month steers £5 7s, 18-month heifers £5 to £5 12s 6d, weaner steers £2 10s to £3, weaner heifers £1 15s to £2 ss, mixed sexes weaners £1 10s to £2 Bs, extra heavy bulls £18 to £20, others £8 10s to £15s, 2-tooth ewes 27s 2d, f.m. ewes 18s to 235, 5-year ewes (poor) 12s to 14s Bd. good lambs 16b Id, store lambs 10s 6d to 12s.

At Waverley yards on Friday we held our sheep fair and cattle sale Sheep were yarded in full numbers and sold well. Cattle were only a small yarding, and sold at late rates Two-tooth ewes 29s 9d to 30s 3d, 4 and 6-tooth ewes 25s to 27s Bd, 4-year ewes 15s 6d to 23s Id, wethers 25s 9d to 28s, lambs 15s 3d.

At KapoHga yards on Friday at our usual sale there was a good yarding of stock. Competition was keen, and we report a good sale. Fat cows £12 10s to £13 15s, forward cows £9 10s to £11, store cows £6 10s to £8 10s boners £3 10s to £5 15s, weaners (mixed) £1 14s, lambs 13s.
