REFUSE DESTRUCTOR
The engineer. (Mr J.. Sturrock) reported to the Borough. Council last night: As instructed; X have, visited Devonport and Napier; and, have collected a considerable" quantity of facts and opinions. One very practical point I ascertained : will, if; our destructor proceeds, be alone well worth while the visit. It will be referred" to later. I am now in- a position to get information from-several filans in N.Z. representing the best makers at Home as to the latest develoDments iir- small destrugU>r& !"■ may say.,, in passing, that it was very pleasant to'learn that the Napier people and the Council are very satisfied wfth their destructor which I carried' out when in Napier. I was anxious to find out faults, but could not get them to admit any.
