(Received Sep. 30, 11.20 a.m.) LONDON, Sep. 29. A French Eastern communique reports general progress on the whole front on the 27th, with important captures of prisoners and material. The Allies' left wing is breaking down the resistance, but the enemy is still holding out between Lakes Presba and Ochrida and north-west of Monastir. The Allies passed Krushevo on a wide front, and are advancing on Kritchevo. In the centre the Serbians, who entered Veles at noon, advanced on a front from Karabuniste to Nuduik to twentythree miles from Uskub. They also reached the region of Kotchana and Radovista, and pushed forward their cavalry in the Lehovo region to six miles from the Bulgarian frontier. 'The Allies' right wing occupy the Strumnitza region, ana are ascending the Strumnitza valley eastwards. Over three hundred guns have been captured since the beginning of the of-fensive.—-Aus.-N.Z.
