c-^ , -tr .LONI>ON, Sep. 34. feu* Jiaag reports: A successful operation took place this morning, in co-operation with the French, in the St. Quentin sector. Thei English attacked at dawn over four miles of front in the neighborhood of the Omissy river and southwards and made good progress on the whole of this front, taking 800 prisoners. Vigorous resistance was encountered at a number of points, especially in the neighborhood of SeJeney, where figh.ting continues. We slightly improved our positions north-east of Epehy as the result of local nghting.-^Aue.-N.Z. C:A. and Reuter.
