t *i. ~ LONDON, Aug. 2. in the House of Commons, Mr Bonar Law replying to Mr Runciman, said the United Kingdom and Dominions must settle their fiscal policies inclef'rt 11*1?- He had pointed out that the British Government had put itself in line- with the Dominions by deciding to give preference on articles now dutiable or dutiable in future. The Imperial Conference had accepted the principle of preference in 1917, and had discussed the Empire's creneral economic policy many times this year. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn
