WRECK OF THE HIMITANGI.

w FURTHER PARTICULARS EXPECTED TO-DAY. (BT TELEGBAPH—KMS6S ASSOCIATION.) WELINGTON, July 31. No further news of the Himitangi has been received owing to the distance ol the wreck from Waitangi and the a.b sence of roads making communications difficult, while rough seas prevent fishing craft from going to the spot. Particulars are expected by wireless to-day, and a decision will then be made regarding the dispatch of a relief ship. Although the Himitangi was insure*, the owners will be heavy losers. They have two fish freezing plants operating at the Chathams, and will have to procure -another vessel. A Masi-fterial enquiry into the wreck will be held as soon as possible.
