The newspapers, - commenting on the arrival of the mis:sion, ask, "is the Washington Government sufficiently interested in America's future commerce with Brazil to take steps to*offset British efforts?"
WASHINGTON, May 14. . M. Thomas Masarik, a Bohemian leader of education, who has arrived from Russia, states that Russia is preparing to strike against the Germans in the closing days of the war. The ■Czechs and Slovacs are organising an army.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Association.
