MANAWATU CLUB'S PROFITS

PALMERSTON N., April 25. I The committee of the Manawatu Racing Club has resolved that all profits from the autumn meeting be invested in the War Loan, and the securities are to be handed over for such patriotic purposes as the committee may think fit to decide, it is understood the profits amount to a considerable sum.
