'
At Urenui on Monday, 15th, there was a small yarding. Jersey weaner steers made 23s to 255, mixed weaners ■TT -in » 2*-year steers £9 5s to £10 14s, 18-month steers £7 5s forward cows £8 10s to £9 19s, weaner heifers Jss store cows £4 15s to £7 ss, fat and forward ewes 26s 9d, f.m. ewes in lamb 17s 7d.
~A.t Stony River on Tuesday, 16th. there was a full yarding with a slackened demand. There was no sale for weaners. Fat cows sold up to £10 8s 6d, forward cows to £9 12s 6d, store cows £4 15s to £6 15s, 18 to 20-month steers £6 5s to £6 15®, empty 18----month heifers £4 10s to £5 3s, 2*-year good conditioned steers £10, calved heifers £6 5s to £10, fat ewes and ™ «J* 29s > fat lambs 21s- age<i e^e® 10s 3d, f.m. ewes 15s 6d, lambs 12s 2d to 13s.
