_ CHRISTCHURCH, April 6. ■ l£ J™tooe Herdman gave judgment m the Supreme Court in the dispute over the will of Annie Quayle Townsend, who bequeathed £5000 to the trustees, committee, or other persons in control of the management of the, {society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals in the parish of tyTalew, isle ot Man. There was a society in control at the Isle of Man, including the parish of Malew, where a local! society was subsequently formed. The! judge, said it was clear Mrs Townsend intended the bequest for the bene- £* i c tsoc^tv in the parish of Malew only, and he gave judgment tor defendant society. I
