NEW ZEALAND'S STRENGTH IN THE FIELD.
■ . . WELLINGTON, March 27. Jteternng to a question asked in the JtLouee of Commons regarding the New Zealand reinforcements, the Ministerl of Defence stated to-day: "I am not disturbed about the strength of our mam bodies at the front. We have i relied upon th© Army Councirto advise us from time to time as to the necessary monthly percentage to keep the main bodies up to full strength, and we have never deviated from the advice given to us, and never failed to send th© full number of reinforcements in accordance with that advice. I am satisfied with regard to the present percentage. The advice of the Army Council is sound, and I judge this, not only as they have sent it to us, but also because it is supported by responsible officers at the front."
