The Amalgamated Engineers' Executive has sent out ballot papers with reference to combing out, accompanied by a statement pointing out that the Premier's recent promise means that diluted labor will be placed in line regiments and preference given to : skilled men. The latter will be utilised • mainly> as technical units.
