MANAIA v. HAWERA
The Manaia ladies visited Hawera and ,met the lady members of the Hawera club in a friendly game yesterday. The weather conditions were ideal, and the lawns were. fast. Thore was some excellent play on both sides, but the verdict eventually went to the home players. Tne scores were as follows, Manaia being mentioned first in each case •— Doubles—Mrs Christie .and Mrs McDonald J4 v.
