It is now found "necessary to make the following corrections: —■' Meart—Home-killed mutton and beef selling at maximum prices. Home-killed beef maximum price is advanced to 12^d. Owing to the scarcity of all de-script-ions ■of - meat, small supplies of New Zealand lamb. released for the Christmas trade, by order of the Government. Argentine beef is in small supplies-; chilled hindquarters Hid, fore-quarters 9£d; Argentine frozen ox beef first quality, i s in fair supply; hinds ll£d, fores 9^-d. s The following maximum wholesale prices have been fixed for imported offal beef: Livers, tongues, tails, kidneys hearts, boneless beef, 9d, lld, lOd, U-Jd, 8d and 12f d per lb; sheep's kidneys, hearts and lamb hearts Is 9d, 3e 9d, and 3s 3d per dozen; sheep's tongues, and lamb tongues and sweetbreads, 10d,' lld and 15d per lb.
