] (From Our Own Correspondent.) Three soldiers—Privates W. Burton • ■ L-, :Nairn and H. C. Norgate—ari rived home from the front (invalided) on Monday night, and were met at the railway station by the Mayor, members of the Patriotic Committee, and a number of friends. . The Mayor on behalf of the people of the district, ex- , tended a hearty welcome to the soldiers, and expressed the hope that they would be speedily restored to good health. The Salvation Army Band was in attendance, and played a few appropriate tunes of welcome. , Mr J. Swindlchurstj Hunter road has received word from the Minister of Defence that his son Leslie is again wounded. This is the third time that Private Swindlehurst has been wounded.
