STRATFORD RACING CLUB
Heavy wind and rain prevailed at Stratford, notwithstanding -which the to\vn -was full of intending visitors to the races. The club's committee, however, met at the course about ten o'clock and in yiaw of prevailing conditions decided to postpone the racing until the following day, feeling that it ivould be better ■to face a possible loss of revenue rather tha» risk accidents. V It is to be hoped the club will have better luck to-day.
