The Red Guards, in the course of the fighting at Irkutsk, murdered the French consular agent and two other Frenchmen. The town is afire, and the population is starving.
TIENTSIN, Dec 31
An impression is growing that the Japanese will be forced to take drastic measures in Eastern Siberia in the event of Maximalist influences continuing to spread eastward.
It is expected that China will undertake the protection of . the entire Northern Manchurian zones. -
