GREECE.
ATHENS, Aug. 27. In the Chamber there was an animated debate regarding the possibility of establishing a republic. The debate revealed that a majority of deputies favored republicanism. M. Venizelos, replying, said that despite the blow Constantine had dealt to the monarchical system, the Government was making its final trial of royal institutions. "This is the last experience we shall attempt, b»t the majority will, I sincerely wish, make the regime of the crowned republic strong and safe."
