THE WEATHER.
FRIDAY, AUGUST 10. The Government Meteorologist telegraphed to-day as Follows: —The indications are for variable and moderate breezes, but northerly moderate to strong winds prevailing. There is a prospect of fair to cloudy weather, with increasing haze and cloudiness; barometer falling after aljout 24 hours; tides and sea moderate.
