STRATFORD, Aug. 10. May Sefton, a married woman, was to-day committed for trial for alleged perjury, stated to have occurred in the hearing of the slander case in which Mrs Sefton obtained judgment for £350 against a County Councillor named Lawry Baskin, who, in criticising the county engineer, made statenK Its which,the jury found reflected on Mrs Sefton. Bail was allowedl in accused's own recognisances.
