LONDON, Aug. 2. Mr J. R. Clynes seated that in order, to get a ninepenny loaf without loss to the Exohequer, it would be necessary to buy imported flour at 61s per quarter, but the estimate was subjecfc to revision. War prices of beer are causing a boom in brewery shares. The Empire Producers' Association resolved that the Government must, without delay give effect to the resolutions of the Paris Conference in June 1916, and the policy of the Imperial preference outlined at the Imperial Conference in March.
