SECOND DIVISION LEAGUE.

AUCKLAND, July 10. A Second Division League vas formed to-night. It >vas resolved to urge the immediate need ior revision (f the scale of allowances, pay and pensions, so that the dependents of soldiers, present and future, may not have to appeal to patriotic charity for assistance which should be provided by the State, urging facilities for the immediate examination of classes A and B, and expressing the opinion that certificates should not be granted by private or semi-official persons, but " that all ballots should be taken under the present sysrtem, and that exemptions other than for physical unfitness should be granted only by the Military Court of Appeal. Resolutions were carried regretting that there was no Government recognition of dependents other than wives and children.
