HASTINGS,, Eeb. 12. Fxank Watson, a farmer and. stock dealer, a resident on Karamu road, and aged 50, was drowned"wnilst. bathing at Waimarama yesterday. D. A. Graham and S. W. Waters vainly attempted, to rescue him, and reached the shore exhausted. Mrs Watson and many others witnessed the Tatality, but were powerless to help.
