two tons to the acre, or sulphate of iron at the rate of 4 cwt to the acre. Both these treatments have apparently answered the purpose of stamping out rhizoetonia. Care must be taken to thoroughly disinfect all tools or implements used in the diseased area beforethev are again used in any other part of the field.
