A BOMBSHELL FOR GRAIN TRADE
(Received Oct. 12, 9.30 a.m.) . ■■ LONDON. Oct. 11. The Times says that the Government wheat scheme came as a bombshell to the trade. Grsin merchants frankly recognise that they cannot expect to , repeat the profits earned hitherto, but they expect the Government to conduct the trade through existing channels. . The Times adds: "Consumers who expect a fall in prices may be disappointed."
