KAISER VISITS LEMBERG
MAXIMUM GERMAN EFFORT PREDICTED.
PARIS, Oct. 11. Le Journal records an extraordinary achievement of Belgian automobiles on the Russian front. They penetrated Galicia to a depth of 150 kilometres. The raid lasted a fortnight, covering 600 kilometres, and returned without a casualty, • revealing the organisation of the enemy's rear. Experienced observers'Of the war are of opinion that the Kaiser's visit to Lemberg indicates that Germany is about to make her maximum effort.
