BURNSIDE.

At Burn-side fat cattle competition was very keen . for good quality, but prices declined 30s on last week's extreme rates. Prime bullocks made £15 to £17 10s, extra to £22 7s 6d, medium to good £12 to £14 10s, light and inferior £9 10s to £11, prime cows and heifers £11 to £18, medium £9 to £10 10s, inferior £7 to £8 10s.

Fat sheep: Prices dropped considerably from last week's extreme rates, though they were equal to if not a shade better than prices a fortnight ago. Prime wethers "made 31s to 345, extra 37s 6d, medium 25s to 295, light and inferior 19s to 28s, prime ewes 27s to 30s, medium to good 20s to 245, inferior 14s to 18s.

Lambs: Late values were well maintained. Best 22s to 265, medium to go.od 19-s to 21s 6d, inferior 16s to 18s.
