FLST JUFRJCH, General Northey reports that the British columns crossed the NyassalandGerman East Africa frontier on May 25th, and pursued the enemy as far as Neuutengule, capturing prisoners and stores.
General Murray, commanding the Rhodesian column is investing the Namema forts. The garrison sortied on June 2nd, but suffered heavy casualties, mariv being taken prisoner, including the commandant, a German. Native levies and carriers are demoralised and are deserting. Our losses were small.
