DUNEDIN, June 7. The Maunganui and Tahiti men left for north at 11.53, having been previously accorded a civic welcome and entertained at luncheon.
The Chamber of Commerce resolved to address a letter to the Government, urging that in the event of a war loan being floated in the Dominion, provision should be made for acceptance of debentures or stock in payment of death duties.
