ELTHAM.

(From' Our Own Correspondent.)

RECRUITS FOR TRENTHAM. A' dozen recruit 3 joined the mail train at thft EWham, railway station this morning. There was _■ a larga number of people at the station to see them off. : The Mayor (Mr B. Dive) and Mr C; A. Wilkinson, M.P., addressed the men and complimented them on having responded to tW'r country's call, and also the call of iheir comrades at the front, and wished them Godspeed. They believed that the men would uphold the honor of the Empire. The names of those who entrained" are: G. T. -Ewen, A. Gray, H. McLaughlin, E. Cain, H. J". Pryde, T. M. White, D. E. Thoumine, L; S. Thoumine, ..G. F. Shaw, J. P. Trott, E. Dunn and C. Volkert. Three hearty cheers were given for the men as the train moved away.
