STOCKHOLM, Jan. 9. i The British steamer Gitano, which j has been in refuge at Norryoeringsince 'the war, slipped out on New Year's Day and was followed by Swedish tqrpedoers. A German torpedoer tried to 'capture the Gitano in Swedish waters, 'but the Swedish torpedoers forced it to 'desist. The Gitano reached Malmoe rand left again for Gothenburg. She ■must cross a'small stre'tcS. of inteirnatfional water an^ many German warships rose lying in wait for her.
