AN ENCOURAGING DESPATCH
(Received Sep. 28, 10.30 a.m.) PARIS, Sep. 27
M. Nadeau, who is at the Russian headquarters, telegraphing to the Journal, says there has been considerable Russian success south of Polesie, where they are progressing constantly westward and methodically regaining watercourses which the Germans had previously captured at enormous cost. The Russians are everywhere advancing between Polesie and Roumania (?). Not a German was north of the Dwina on the 25th.
