COMPLETE NEW PROGRAMME

At the Opera House to-night an entirely new programme will be screened, and will be headed by the successful stage drama, '.'The Man With a Record." A young man who had served a sentence and was trying to lead an upright life, is sent by his mother to pawn her watch in order that they may have a meal. The pawnbroker writes the man's name opposite the number of a watch that has been stolen. The' police are merciless in their drastic American way, hut Providence steps in and makes the lives of those who had been shamefully treated, a much happier one than the sufferers hoped for. A merry Keystone comedy is also to be screened; namely, "Ambrose's Lofty Perch." "Ambrose," who in real life i-3 Mack Swain, has made himself a favorite Keystone comedian throughout': the world. The Australian Gazette 246 will include some very interesting scenes, including shells for the Dardanelles, "Australia Day" preparations, and the 1915 Grand National. The other attractions of the programme clude "Wanted a Nurse" (Vitagraph comedy) and "The Wild Engine" (Kalem-Helen Holmes Railroad dran^a).. Several supporting films will add* to the attractiveness of j this strong programme. •].
