Both matches were very close and interesting, and produced some very good plav In the senior game O'Callaghan woii the first two holes from Turner, and then kept the lead throughout. At ™ f nd «£ the first round he was 4 up. At tiie 24th hole he was 6 up, and at the 32nd dormy 4. Turner took the next two in well played 4's. but a half at the 35th gave O'Callaghan the match by 2 up and 1 to play. Glassou -i^ and; Dailey had a ding-dong go over ,% the whole course. At the end of the first round Glasson was 1 up, but dur- • ing the second round Dailey managed to even the score xip, and both players then kept on even terms right up until the 36th green was reached, when a "putt" gave the victory to Dailey
